AC adapter help

First time, short timer. I have a question. My ac adapter for my Presario
M2000 fried on me. I found one at work that is very similar. The output on the original was 65w 18.5v 3.5a. The one I found doesn't give a wattage but has 18.5v 2.7a output. Can anyone tell me if this would be safe to use.
 
Short term it will probably work for a while but it's only capable of 49.5 watts, if the battery is low it will try to demand more current than the adaptor can give and will get hot.
