I use HughsNet Gen4 for my Internet Provider. As purely an academic question I have wondered about the following. As I understand it, the alignment between my roof-top satellite dish and the geosynchronous satellite at which it is aimed is critical. How do they maintain the alignment in regard to the earth's tilt during the seasonal tilting of the earth? Intuition suggests that the satellite would not automatically follow the equator's shift to the Tropic of Cancer in the Summer to the Tropic of Capricorn in the Winter.
