hey all.

my girlfriend has a d60 nikon slr and i want to get her something to go with it. some sort of cool, or useful something. but not lenses cause her mom has already got her some and not a tripod? any suggestions?

Maybe a good flash, or some sort of light or color filter to get a little variety of shots?

i was considering filters. don't know really what kinds to get. and i looked into flash and man they are expensive

okay, nevermind. i decided i am getting her a tripod. but i need help picking one. she is a very refined photographer and very talented. i need one that'll more than fit her needs. i really don't know the difference between a $20 and a $50 tripod so i need help.

I would go into your local camera specialty shop and see what they've got. You should be able to get a pretty good tripod for $50.
