if i have more accounts on my computer does it slow it down or will it run fine? at the moment i have 5 accounts and my computer is running clow, each account has music on, some more than others. is it best to just have the one account?

also how can i make a password on the guest account, i read some where that i could but im not to sure, thanks!!!

Technically it shouldn't really slow it down, but each account does have folders set aside for things like My Documents and all. I guess the biggest problem would be fragmenting the harddrive.

As for password protecting the guest account, I don't know how to right off... I would assume it'd be under computer management or user accounts. I suppose you could just disable the guest account and remake one that's called guest or something similar.

i see, so fragmenting the hardrive, would that just take a long time or do you have to do each indivdual account?

yeah its weird the guest account because what ii heard was that you can possibly go start>run then type password, ive thried that and that hasnt worked and im a little un sure, i should really go and look for the magazine again, ive also tried command prompt and that also hasnt worked. its something to do with outsiders being able to get into your coomputer and seeing your files and that. dont know why anybody would want to get into mine but i think it may just be a paranoia thinng we me. who know argh :P

It depends. Which specs is it? (your sig, if it's one of those)
My gf's family has a setup similar to your 3rd setup in your sig.. with 6 different accounts. It runs annoyingly slow.

So my guess would be your specs.. What are they?

Yeah its the 3rd computer on my list, its runs really slow, theres only about 35gb on the HD left so could this also be a problem and the fact that its very old, i think 3-4 years. :D
