hey my acer 2480 laptop wont startup. battery is charged and i have removed the hard drive. it comes on when the battery is removed and reconnected. stays on for 4 seconds then cuts off. i can hear the fan start up and the dvd/rom. any suggestions out there?
i would say that there is a something wrong with the motherboard. i had a similar problem not to long ago. mine started with me spilling lemonade on my laptop......
and just out of curiosity, why did you remove your hd
