I am looking at some RAM for a notebook. It is an Acer Aspire 5315Z. The manual says the Random Access Memory compatible is PC2-4200 200-Pin. I was looking at PC2-5300 200-Pin memory for this notebook. PC2-5300 is lower in price than the PC2-4200 memory. The PC2-5300 memory would work in this notebook wouldn't it? The RAM speed will just run at PC2-4200 speeds correct?
