Acer freezing!!??

Hi,

I have a Acer TravelMate 8204Wlmi, that freez when i am in windows. And sometimes it wouldnt startup only light is turned on and sreen is black..


I hope that any one can help me...!!

I assume you mean you don't get the POST startup logo or anything like that at times? I'd lean towards hardware issues. Either RAM, or even a failing motherboard.

I guess your warranty is over. Assuming the machine uses duel channel RAM, remove a chip and see how it works. If it doesn't work, swap and use the other.
