My friend got a Acer laptop from his family and wants me to clean everything off of it. He doesnt have any of the disks that comes with laptop...Can I get the nesissary drivers off some free website?

you should be able to get them of acer website!
just type in the make and model number either into google or acer website!
down load everything-graphics,sound,modem,ethernet,touch pad,chipset etc etc put then onto disk....

What do I save the file as?
Burn with Nero as a data disk?
Dvd or cd-r?

when the box opens as you download them rather than pressing run just save them, they should already be named!
they will save into your download folder in your documents.
just double click on your cd rom and itll open up your blank disk, drag your files that you have downloaded onto the disk...
use a cd not dvd as the files wont be that big!!!
