Hello
I've been searching the net in vain for help, and this forum helped me in the past so here goes.
I just bought a new netbook, and Acer N270 with Windows XP. When I first started the setup procedure, I accidentally selected French instead of English. I didn't notice this until the Acer eRecovery program had finished whatever it was doing, and the Windows installation screen came up. I couldn't go back to change the language, and basically from what little French I know, I fumbled my way through the Windows setup. Now nothing I do will change it back. Every answer out there seems to think this can be done by changing the settings through the control panel, but that isn't doing a thing. I've noticed a few references to a 'one-time language selection' when setting up this netbook, and I hope there is someway to reinstall (there are no discs, the unit does not come with a dvdrom.
Anyone have a solution to this problem. Thanks for any help.
Neal
