Acer TravelMate 5320

I have recently purchased an ACER TravelMate 5320 for my brother-in-law,, the machine is fantastic and does everything it needs to do for him, however, my brother-in-law is wheelchair bound and does not have full use of his hands, as a result I desperately need to disable the ‘tap’ function on the touch pad. I have checked through the usage routes to disable this functionality i.e. Control Panel – Mouse, however I can not find the option to disable the ‘tapping’ function,, is this something new that Vista has taken away from us?
Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Regards

Jon

I don't know but you are better posting this in the OS section, you will get a response faster. I mean this with respect, why does him being in a wheel chair need him to turn off the tap option?
