LaptopExtreme VIP Member Mar 16, 2006 #3 I wouldn't recommend the processor upgrade, but it should work. I would max out the RAM first and as for gpu- you're stuck with it.

andy5667 New Member Mar 16, 2006 #5 I did some research and it says its AGP. Is there no cards i can swap into the agp slot and if i get a usb 2 card for the PCMCIA slot will it work as usb2 as the onboard is 1.1.

andy5667 New Member Mar 18, 2006 #7 I have one but for an external hd its best with usb 2.0, thats why i was wondering about card bus.
