Acrobat Distiller 5.0 Printer Driver

Hey,

I have a problem where one of my users has Distiller 5.0 installed on his workstation. This is Windows XP 32 bit. We have recently given him a new laptop, windows XP 64 bit. I have installed Adobe Acrobat and Distiller 5.0 however i am haveing poblems adding the Adobe .PDF printer.

On his old desktop Acrobat PDF printer is available however i cant see to add this on the new laptop.

Using the Acrobat disk it says add Post script printer driver i do this install however there is errors.

I am worried that this version is so old that it does not support drivers on a 64 bit system. Does anyone know how to do this (be able to print to PDF)?

What laptop is it? Brand and model number please.

Also look up and see if there are 64bit versions of the software you are using, chances are there might be.

Its a high end Dell Laptop. Not sure of Model i dont think it will make a difference.

That is what im struggling to fine. I dont think there is which will be why it wont let me add the driver.
