What's the deal with Active X? I come upon several websites that say "Click Here For Active X" and when I click on it, it dumps the net. I've downloaded Active X 3 times and apparently I'm missing something. I'm having the same problems with Quick Time too. I've downloaded QT at least 5 times but most of the time, it won't play. Is AOL still screwing with me? I dumped everything but AIM.

It's probably AOL... ActiveX takes on many forms... I can't think of a good way to explain it, but Flash, Shockwave, Windows Media PLayer, etc etc...they all are activex components. So, if you find out whatever the site needs and load it manually, you'll probably correct this problem.
