activex 9.oc

i bought a game and it says it needs activex 9.0c . when i try to play game it says i am missing d3dx9_39.dll i tried to load the 9.0c but i cant get the dll to ever work. i reloaded activex 9 and that still wont do it and i updated the driver on my graphics card ge force 5200 fx. i am running windows xp. has any body tried to load 9.oc and if so where do i put it. it cant be that hard to figure out but it sure has me stumped.

download that and install.If you have the dll its asking for put it in the game directory.

when i open the 9.oc redistributable it says where do you want to extract files? where do i want to put them?

Wherever you wish, seeing as you can find it later on.

got it figured out ,thanks. now when i play game it is slow/choppy is that a memory issue or a graphics card issue. or perhaps a processor.

A graphics issue would be my guess

Yeah, prolly gfx issue since the 5200 was never really that excellent of a card to begin with, and is now 3 or 4 generations old. Prolly about time for an upgrade.
