What exactly does this have to do with security and what not, I keep getting a warning while running a program of mine and than the program will shut down, it says something about a setting and security, it happens at what seems to be random intervals, I have tried to disable it in internet explorer but I don;t know if thats how I do it...

The default settings in IE 7 over IE 6 determine those automatically now. With IE 6 you may have to lower the settings there for "active X controls not marked safe" and a few other things to avoid this. But you can more open for adawares and other crud!
