Add/Remove Programs not working

Hey all,

I re-formatted my computer to Windows XP about 2 days ago and now my add or remove programs doesn't work. It will open but no list shows up, anyone know how to fix that?

Try re-registering
regsvr32 appwiz.cpl in the "Start/run window

Thanks! That worked, is it supposed to take about 3 minutes to load up with not many programs on?

XP is very slow, it was the same with me, so I doubt there is anything to worry about.

I reformatted about a month ago and from hitting the big button to the desktop appearing takes 40 seconds. So no, it should'nt take that long.

In msconfig have you a lot of startup programs ticked. (Mine = 9)
In your programs menu under "Startup", have you any entries. (Mine = 0)

What about the task manager? I press ctrl+alt+del and nothing happens.
