Adding Memory

This computer at work is a HP Pavilion a604x,it has 512 of memory.It seems to be running a little slower than it use to,how much memory can I add to it?

Will I be able tell a difference in the speed?

Maximum memory for that computer is 1gb, 2 sticks of 512 memory. You'll notice a slight difference, not much. If it's been a long time since you've done a fresh install then it could be time. Also, have you done any virus or malware scans lately?

yes viruses can really slow down your PC.I recently upgraded my memory when my pc was slowing down but later found out that it was viruses that were slowing it down after i had installed AVG
