adding new switch to my network

hi my network setup is dsl modem -> linksys 4 port router -> 16 port switch
my problem is my 16 port switch is already full. if i were to add a new switch and attach it to my linksys 4 port router, would there be any conflict with both switches?

No mate there shouldn't be any problem.

Well, when you chain a bunch of mini switches together you can get performance decreases, but it will work.

If you have the money (and they get pricey) I would suggest you look into getting a 24 port gigabit switch, a smart switch, and then just run everything off of that.

Is this a home network?
