Hi all,

I was going to purchase two more 2TB drives for our video "server"

I was wondering how much power these two hard drives would consume and if the 5900 RPM would be fine to store video. I am pretty sure this would all work but I'd rather ask before Id buy. Here is the product

ps. I wrote server because it runs windows xp and all this computer does is back up the 2 cameras we have (about to make it 4 cameras)

I you are going to get drives for your video server, I would suggest the AV-GP and AV-25 drives from WD. They are made for video servers as you mention, they cost a little bit more, but in the end I would always use a little more money on a HDD that wouldrun 24/7.
