Address bar in IE

I seem to have lost my address bar in internet explorer. I have checked that it is ticked under View > Toolbars > address bar but it still isnt there.

Can anyone help me please?

If that's not it, try running a virus check and a spyware check

I got the exact same problem but all my security tells me I'm clean...so I downloaded Firefox & Maxthon and carry on as if I was normal.
I had all kind of help and suggestion a few week ago but nothing got the address bar back. Pc going in after holidays for complete cleaning so a tech canfix that at the same time No address bar problem is going to ruin my Xmas
