Admin Abuse?

I was on a British CS:S sever last night and all the users were bored with the map so we activated rock the vote. However the admin then started slaying us if we voted. This wasn't the end though, after a map swap the same admin teleported to the top of the map where I gave him a shot to the head with a shotgun after a bout 10 seconds and then again I was slayed for... spawnkilling?! After that he just kept teleporting himself out of jail.

Is there anything I can do to stop this? I like this server because of the low pings because my BT connection slows down a lot.

Depending on what server (commercial or public, did you pay to get there?) Then usually the group of admins are friends or at least know each other to a certain extent, so running to another admin probably wont help...

I say you should load up your best aimbot and wallhack and teach hima lesson, see his kill:death ratio plummet and humiliate him infront of a full server. Then leave, never to return.

NOTE: Not advisable on VAC secured servers
 
Somehow I think he'd get me banned, he's the best on that server at 1st out of about 1400. Unfortunately this is a VAC-secured server I think.:(

Please don't take this guys advice with this line. It's bloody annoying having people hack and bot because they enjoy it. Doing it as a revenge plot is just pathetic. We have enough cheaters on the bloody game ruining it for everyone else as it is without adding to that number. Regardless of if you do it on one server or many, your a pure idiot if you do it at all in my opinion. If people want to hack, I wish they'd bugger off onto their own hosted server not bothering others online with them.

Your best bet would be to flag it up on their forums so that all of the staff can see. If there is at least one responsible person running the clan you should be ok and it will get noticed and even if a little warning gets given, it's a start. Best thing to do though really is just stay out of the admins way. Normally you get kiddie power hungry admins that use the features at their will when something doesn't go their way. It's not best to argue with them if you enjoy the server, more reason with them.

It was quite obviously a joke Breaks, chill out. I play CS:S enough to know that hackers deserve to die

lol Sorry for my misunderstanding (seemed like you were actually suggesting it :p). It's just people cheating absolutely do my nut in. I dispise people that hack or have hacked. I just really don't see the point in it. I wish they'd just get better skill wise themselves and play like that for real :\.

Sometimes the server will give you an e-mail to report admin abuse to. If you can find one, I would do it.

Aaah ok, well, i apologise if i sounded harsh in that post, was a bit tense then.

But yeh, hackers have no skill at all. Although they think they are brilliant getting straight headshots and a ratio of 60:0 kill:death... Sure, i'm pretty certain anyone could get that if they cheated.

To clarify, don't hack or cheat, the gods of CS:S will come down and smite thee if ye do!!!

It's not the first time I don't understand your joke Dragon... Remember that LP thread that got me an infraction? Again, I did not got your joke, answered because I was angry at you because I did not understand your joke...

You have to understand that we don't see your face smiling when we read the posts.

And no, it wasn't quite obvious that it was a joke.

Please don't hack, it's stupid.... Plus non-VAC servers are sometimes actually VAC secured lol. Weird but a friend of mine got in trouble for that :D

Obviously I need to start using smilies a bit more then, strange that this is onyl the second time it's happened though. I would have put that down to other people, not me, as I make a lot more jokes than just two...

i have experienced some admin abuse lol, it was cool though. they were actually changing my controls. they made my left click say something like I SUCK or whatever. and made me move forward or backward constantly. i have no idea how they did it though.
