adobe cs2

my parents own a newspaper, and the graphic design pc's have adobe cs2, well, 1 of them crashed. everything was lost on the disc but windows xp and the annoying preinstalled package software that compes with your computer. what about adobe? how do i get it back? do i just reinstall it onto the computer?

fyi, it is a legal copy of adobe cs2...

edit: it wont activate. it installed though.

If it's legal and you had the code. Just call up adobe and tell them the situation that it's not activating. They can give you an activiation code over the phone.
 
as hakk said, this is simple to sort out, the reason it wont activate is because according to their system your previous install is activated with that key, as far as they know this neew install is a friend you lent the disc to etc... what they do when you ring up is reset your key, so any existing activations are nul and void and you are open to create a new one.

lol, they just gave me the code, all i needed to tell them was the serial nimber, it would be easy to rip em off i bet..
 
Glad it worked out for you. As far as the ripping Adobe off, probably not. They probably see that your serial was legitimately bought and it wasn't pirated.
