Adobe Flash 11 Won't Install

We keep getting a "general installation" error when we try to load Adobe Flash Player 11 on my wife's laptop. None of the help topic on the Adobe site provide much help. Has anyone else run into this problem and if so what did you do to fix it?

Make sure all programs are closed, and try the different versions, it is a common problem for people to click the wrong flash for their pc.
