Adobe photo element 3.0

It will not load all the way before saying the computer runs out of memory. I put in another 1gb of ram but still will not open. I have 13k photos organized and I don't want to lose that. Any way to recover the program without unistalling it? Previously I loaded some pictures on from my camera and then it stopped working.

try upgrading to photo elements 6 as your version is outdated now and it will ask you if you want to transfer your old catalogue pics to the new version, so you should be o.k!!!

and also your pictures are not in the adobe photo element program, as they are in your hard drive under your default pictures, like my documents > my pictures > adobe > and probably a folder like scanned photo's or something, all adobe photo element does is to merely point to your pictures, so you should not lose them if you uninstall adobe photo element 3 .

hope this helps.
