Adobe Premiere Setup - Trouble

I downloaded adobe premiere then extracted, and then when i pressed setup a grey popup came about saying
-
config.nt. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications.

So i cant install adobe premiere, can anyone help with this situation

I trust that when you say "downloaded" you mean a legit and fully paid for copy from Adobe.

That error message appears when the "config.nt" file is corrupted or missing.
