Adobe reader 11

adobe keeps bugging me to down load the update so I get adobe reader X1 and when I read something say I'm at page 20 then I turn it off and when I turn it back on again it takes me to page 1 stead of page 20 where I left off. How can I fix this?

I don't think you can set it to open the page where you left off. Just write down what page you left off and physically enter the page number instead of clicking the button to get to the page.

It would open to the page I last look at and now after the update it won't
