Adsense approval?

For those of you who hold Adsense accounts, how long did it actually take for you to get approval and for ads to start appearing?

I totally agree but they do need some time to check if your blog/site/forum is 100 % legal and not pornographic or hacking...
And plus when they check your personal information like address and you know what they ask, and they sure need a lot of time because many people ( VERY MANY!) wanna participate on AdSense.

Took down my original site. Took them ~10 days to notify me that they couldn't find my site. Then started another site (blog)... Finally, received approval for adsense after 4 days of new application!

Wooohooo! :D

Time to load up my site with ads...

It's the matter of IP. The rarer the IP is, the better you get paid.
Try to get some Croatian to click on your site ;)

After countless days of struggle to promote my blog site, I have finally generated one friggin' dollar of profit! Woohoo! Sure beats working at McJobs! ;)

Oh, I will get it alright... Just that it might take me an entire year to get it... ;)

Anyways, I blog for fun only... Actually, I love the subject that I'm blogging, which is why I blog in the first place. There's SO MUCH MORE money to be made in the stock market... (If you want money, go where the money is...) :P

Let's talk about mean nasty aliens. They're people who visit the blog, read every post to the very end, and don't pay a single click of respect to the site... Sheesh :(

Hhh...you know there are possibilites to cheat on AdSense...not allowed to talk here though...

That would take the fun out of doing it... Believe it or not, learning how to write a good blog and promoting it teaches you a lot about business skills. For instance, there was a point where visitors didn't want to go past a certain page. I revised it, in hope of making it more "popular" to the masses. That failed. After I took that certain page down, the visitors went thru the blog to the very last page. There's business learning for you. After a while, you start to figure out what popular, and what's not with the masses... ;)
