Advantages of using Lightroom over Photoshop?

What are the advantages of using Lightroom over Photoshop?? I've got a trial of Lightroom installed right now and having a little play, but what are the major differences/advantages?
 
Its waaay easier and so much faster to do photo tweaking in lightroom, since all the options are hand picked for photography and they're all in easy to use sliders. I can edit a photo to my liking within a couple minutes, and sometimes less than a minute if it's an easier one to do.

Photoshop is still necessary for the more intense photo manipulation.
 
OK. I'm used to Photoshop now so I think Lightroom might take a little bit of learning, but thanks for the response. I thought that may have been the case.
 
It is a totally different interface. Not hard to learn though, didn't take me long.

Quite a bit quicker to edit:good:
I can finish an edit in half the time than if I were to do it with photoshop.
 
I find i use them both for totally different things to be honest, lightroom first and then finish up in photoshop
