Advent 7017 laptop problem

Hi all
I have been having trouble with system recovery of my Advent 7017 laptop and been advised by pcservicecall that I require a replacement setup CD. Howeve, they don't seem to have my model's anymore, I'm finding it very difficult to find and I can't do anything without it.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I could get hold of one? Advent don't have them as they deal directly through pcservicecall. Or better yet, does anyone have a working one they could possibly lend me? Thanks,

Does your system have a hidden partition on the drive that allows a recovery through a backup image stored on the drive; i know acer systems have it. If yours has it there might be an option in the bios or device boot order (not likely but worth looking) that will allow the restore from hidden image.
To start the restore process you will normally have to press a combination of keys as the system boots.
