First of I am new here so hello everyone

I want to ask, I've just recently got into using steam for playing a few games and I would like to play a few games such as battlefield bad company 2 and some the call of duty games, i know my pc wont be able to play these games in its current state but can someone have a look at my specs and see what i would need to do, iam hoping if i can just upgrade the video card to a better one and hopefully have results

Thanks

how much can you spend, and the graphics card would prob be the main problem, then you'll also need a new power supply most likely, and do you know if your motherboard is agp or pci-e for the graphics card socket, i think the 8400 comes in both.

Yeah you can upgrade your video card. Depending on your power suppy. What model and make is it? Plus what motherboard do you have? Your system is kinda out dated. But if you cant afford to upgrade the whole system, you can move a video card and power supply up to the next one.

I have windows 95/98/98SE computers. But when you use them its like a using a Atari 2600. Its fun for awhile, but its Obsolete not matter how you look at it.

I liked 2000 over XP. Me and none of my friends upgraded to XP till microshaft started screwing 2000 without upgrades that they were giving to XP. From what I understand they rehired the dude over 2000 to work on Vista. He walked when he saw how screwed up they were developing Vista. It was like a Windows ME all over again from 98SE.

I've also been offered a HD5770 which i think is ati for £25 is that any good I am not interested in running games at their full settings but just at a reasonable setting
