Advice for a computer system

Hi People

Well I was wondering if I could have some of your expert opinions on either a computer system, or components.

Basically I want a computer system which supports 2 monitors. Basically I will be purchasing 2 19ich tft's and I want to use them together as one big monitor, therefore I can have a window open on one, and another on the other monitor.

However after doing some research, SLI configurations started to appear, an now I am not so sure what to do. Do I just need a dual graphic card at thats it? if so could someone recommend me one.

Well to be honest, I dont have a budget I am going to be purchasing a XPS system or similar from Dell. I will have to replace the graphic card with a dual one, and will be purchasing 2 19ich tfts separately.

Being an IT student, I know what hardware requirements I need, its just the dual graphic card im not sure on.

I will use the computer for almost everything you can think of, programming, web development, word processing, designing, publishing, Internet browsing etc.
