Advice for a new M/B

Oh man, don't even go there. Whatever you do, don't skimp out on the mobo. That is the basis for your whole system and you'll get what you pay for. My personal experience with AMD is that you always have to get a good quality mobo for the computer to function at it's best.

The model seen there is a rather basic model that will run the AMD64 FX60 dual cored cpu. But it wasn't the better model being planned for the intended upgrade early next year. You want to get into a board that allows expandability and some upgrades later. So expect to pay a little more to get a good system together.
 
When looking at some models at newegg you can find some down under $65 if you want a lower end model. The A8N SLI model mentioned before was quicky chosen to replace an older case on the spot. But the intended Asus model if not ending up with an MSI board would have been over $200. It has a lot to do with what is needed for the type of case you are building.
