I just a new pc and need to upgrade the graphic card to something with 1 gig on it ive been offered a XFX ATI Radeon HD 5450 1GB DX11 GDDR2 PCI-Express HDMI

my question is will this card be compatable with my system and also will it play the new games
heres my system
Intel Core2 Quad Q8200 CPU
ASRock G31M-GS Motherboard
4 gb mem 2x2
a 550 watt psu
1 tb samsung hdd
and at the moment an x1800 ati

Yes you can. As long as your power supply can push it.

5450 is not a gaming card. but it will better than onboard vga
If you get it for free, just take it.
