Advice on gaming PC for a 12 year old.

Hi all. I'm sure this has been asked a million times here but there are so many options, it's kind of overwhelming.

My son is 12 and has saved up ~1.8K Canadian ~1.6K American (with shipping and duty) for a gaming computer (the tower and all of the contents only).

He's looking at this:

The Ryzen Machine by a little margin. Ryzen is an 8 core cpu compared to Intel 6 core. Not sure if he will have enough storage space since its only a 500gb nvme drive. See if he can upgrade to the 1tb.

If you're able to buy this in Canada yet this isn't a bad play. More performance than the desktops you listed, and the benefit of being small/portable/aio

i personally would go for the ryzen system as i can vouch for the ryzen 7 3700x its a monster cpu goes through anything i throw at it
as suggested 500gb will likely not be enough storage so i would upgrade to the 1tb
everything else looks good
