but what about DX11? There are titles coming out that support DX11, GRID 2, BattleForge has updates, etc.

Yeah, but he had changed his build from a 4890 to 2x4850s... I just wanted to clarify that for him. Theres no doubt that the 5770 is a better, more futureproof card.

Dont get no 4850 X2. Either the 4890 or 5770. Between them I would go with a 4890. 4890 performs alot better. The 4870 does as well as the 5770. The 5770 is a DirectX 11 card. To me the performance difference between the 4890 and 5770 is not worth DirectX 11. I might go with a 5770 over a 4870 though, depending on the price.

And get the 125W Phenom II 965. Or just go with the 955

In my own opinion I think this guy on E-bay wants too much money for the i7 processors he is selling. The Intel i7 processor line is extremely powerful and top of the line right now running at manufacturer specified clock speeds.

Prices on the i7 Processors on NewEgg presently are:

Core i7 920 Bloomfield Processor - $289
Core i7 860 Lynnfield Processor - $290
