Advice re:Wireless Keyboard and Optical mouse

I am looking for a cheap wireless keyboard and optical mouse combo. Have found prices range from £14 upwards and wondered if anyone knows of the cheaper ones are any good?
Don't often use them for gaming, usually just for internet and office applications.

Have seen this one (cheapest I could find):

Does anyone know if it would be any good or is it worth spending more money?

that keyboard and mouse combo will work good for just internet and office apps. it will even work for gaming to.

I have my old microsoft wireless combo if you're interested in a slightly used one. It's good, I just wanted a wired keyboard and higher resolution mouse.

I only had a few problems gamming with them. BF2 acted up for some reason, but it might of been my comp. It was just like keys got stuck so I'd walk right out in the middle of the war zone ;P 2nd is sometimes reception can be picky when the batteries are weaker. However, the overall reception was very good.

Battery life with a microsoft keyboard and mouse is around 3 months pretty constant use. Not too bad at all. I have a Memorex wireless mouse that will only last about 3 weeks!

I guess the main potential problem for cheaper keyboards would be battery life then would you say?

I previously have had a logitech wireless keyboard and mouse (don't know which model but think it cost around £30). For my use, the battery life seemed pretty good but the keyboard broke after about max of 2 years and the side of the mouse which I can best describe as rubbery is flaking off horribly....
