advise for work laptop

Hi,

I have a budget of about 800€ for a decent laptop for my PhD study.
Doesn't have to do large calculations, just some statistics (R, SAS, ...), excel stuff (and general Office thingies), presentations. I have a dedicated desktop for the heavy stuff.

As it should be easily transported, a 15.x" is prefered.
Perhaps Intel i7 is overkill so I'd go for i5.

I did some "test" and these looked interesting:

Asus N73SM-TY077V
Asus N73SM-TZ055V
Sony Vaio VPC-F24L1E
HP Pavilion DV6-6c30eb
Dell latitude E5520

All these have similar configurations, but some heat up too much, others ... So these small cons and pros might be decisive.

Some of these models are not available anymore, however, and my preference would go to the ASUS models.

What would you suggest? Any alternatives for the ASUS? Other?
Toshiba satellites would be good, too?
