Adware/spyware/malware protection???

Hi-
I have been looking in forums and now Im a bit confused.
There is adware/spyware and malware, so is there a (free) package that protecte you from those three. Firewalls and antivirus seem pretty straight.

kaspersky Internet security (have anti malware scan)
or..
avast free (+Comodo Firewall)

anti spaware:
spybot s&d

anti malware:
malwarebutes anti malware
