Hi.

I've got a HP Probook 6450b with operating system Windows 7 32-bit.
I've got as every other W7 user the "application" or add-on called Aero peek on my computer from the start.
I've got the computer about 1,5 month ago, and after about 3 weeks it stopped working.
Im thinking it have something to do with that another update of some kind has been installed and disabled Peek in some way.

Just asking, if anyone knows how to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance!

The square that should, and was, clickable is no longer. That happened at the same time it stopped working, i have checked multiple times..

Open Control Panel > Performance Information and Tools > Adjust Visual Effects.

Make sure the Enable Aero Peek box, Enable desktop composition, and Use visual styles on windows and buttons are all checked.

Dont forget to click apply. Still not there?

Theres no box called what you say.. But unchecked and checked all the boxes, and it still don't work.. (btw, im not a english w7-user..)
But im thinking, under the same window where Visual effects are, there an Advanced too. If i go in there, i see Prioritize performance for: Programs Backgroundservices (clickable, chooze one, mine is now set for programs) Do you think that has anything to do with it?

Im not actually at my home PC, im typing from an XP machine, so this is all from memory - i cant remember every option. There should be a "Let Windows choose whats best for my machine" or something similar to that - if you check that box, it should reconfigure your display settings to the default - and Aero Peek is enabled by default.

If you still dont have any luck - you need to "Repair your computer" using the Windows 7 CD. This should replace any files and features that may have been accidently removed.

Another option is System Restore - but i would imagine this isnt very helpful for you if it means going back over 3 weeks.

Yeah, was afraid that i had to restore it. Just wanted to see if there were something i could do myself before..
Thanks anyway!
