After formatting stops w/ drive configuration problem??????

I just purchased the m7ncd ultra barebones kit. Doing a clean install of win2000 after formatting the drive with fat32. It stops and stays that there is a hard drive configuration problem. I can't get past this point.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!



AMD Athlon xp 3000+
m7ncd ultra motherboard
Kingston Pc3200 (ddr400) 1 gig installed
radeon 9000 video card
400 watt power supply
win 2000 os

hmm im not really sure wats the problem is , but if i had this problem i would try changin some settings in the bios and installin it on win xp instead

Any luck if you used NTFS? ... is there a possibility the drive is toasted?
