ya so ive googled it but cant find anything. My mobo comes with holes for a southbridge heatsink but it didnt come with one. it does tend to get pretty warm so i wanted to get one. But i cant seem to find one that has the clips for the holes. i only saw one and that was a passive hs that had the sticky pad thing. Do they make aftermarket hs for the southbridge and where can i find one that might work with my board. thanks

What are the dimensions of the hole layout?

I would assume you could use a northbridge fan, it's the same thing. Just make sure the holes line up and install it. Generally the southbridge doesn't get that hot, passive cooling is considered overkill even for alot of motherboards.

I used to just get small heatsinks and use thermal epoxy to hold them on there.

My northbridge is considerably larger than my southbridge. However, a stick-on cooler would prolly still work.
