Age of Empires keeps closing after I beat a level??

Everytime I beat a map in Age of Empires II, the screen just turns black and the only thing I can see is the mouse, whcih I can move still. Since I can't exit out of this,black screen, I must restart the computer everytime this happens. Whatr can do to stop this? Might this have anything to do with me running this game on a Win 98SE comp??

It could be your lack of RAM, or processor power. It amy also be the fact that you are running it on a FAT32 file system, so upgrading to Wiimdows XP might fix the problem. But I'll assure you that you'll need to free up some system resources. go to CTRL-ALT-DEL and close some background tasks.
