agp and pcie mobos

There's no agp port because the Pci express slot/slots replace the agp and the amount of slots has more to do with the particuler form factor of the board your looking at.

You're neglecting the PCI-e 1x. Generally the new mobos that support PCI-e will have the one PCI-e 16x a few PCI-e 1x and a few PCI slots. The total slots are usually the same as a comparable agp board.

I think on "Average" most agp mobos (not tooooooooo old) have aprox. 5 pci slots on a decent full size ATX board.

I'll be happy with my agp board for at least 2 years I'm thinking so they are not all that old ;-).

well dont pcie have liek a lil extra port above/below like 1-2 inch long in place of another pci??? so itll look liek this
_______________ - main one
___ - lil dingyport below
???? not very acurate but isnt that how it is???

And I've seen AGP boards with 3 PCI slots (it was called a mATX or something
And ive seen them with 2 PCI slots :P (usually OEM boards will have 2-3 of them only)
