I intend to buy a graphic card which support Shader 3 and other latest techs. Please let me know which card is suitable for my PC. I am interested in Nvidia Brand somewhat like (AGP NVIDIA Geforce 7600GT 512M 128B agp vga video Card).

Shader model 3.0 is outdated by 2 generations ;)

As for video cards, I've owned one of these systems and the motherboard is very picky with graphics cards. It may simply beep 5 times and refuse to boot.

I honestly would tell you not to spend any more money on that system.

Thanks for your kind advice. Please tell me the alternate to this system as Core2Duo systems seem out of my reach. And I am willing to buy a system which has the PCI-Xpress slot.

You need a low profile card for that system as it's a slim tower. I think the Radeon X1950 XT was the fastest AGP card ever made, but it's not going to fit in your PC. You could buy a second hand Core 2 Duo machine for a relatively low price, look on eBay, it's full of good cheap 3-4 year old dual-core machines. Most modern systems have PCI Express, I've not seen AGP on a motherboard in about 5 years now.

1. Depends. I have a D530 case at home that is a normal midtower that will fit full size cards. Limited length though because of the hard drive cage.
2. HD3870 was the fastest from what I hear.

Sorry my bad didn't release ATI released an AGP 3870, I thought the X1950 was one of the last. Yes a 3870 would smoke an X1950.
