ahhhhh PCI slots screwed

hi guyz,
i was wondering if it were possible to reste the entire motherboard cause my PCI slots seam to be screwed, the read cards that arnt there, and they wont take any cards. i need haelp, any suggestions?

By "reste" I am assuming you mean reset. If the mobo is reading things that aren't there, it is probably a bios problem or just a bad mobo. How long have you had it? You might be able to RMA it.
 
yes sorry "reset", ive had the motherboard for a while maybe a year or so. its a Gigabyte GA-8IPE1000 Pro 2. so how do i do wat u said?

Reset your bios? If you look at your mobo, youll see a little battery, take that out for about a minute, then put it back in. If that doesnt solve your problem it could just be a bad PCI slot/mobo.
 
yeah i think it mite be a bad mobo, cause ive tried to reset the BIOS it dosnt change any thing, its still the same
do u sugest a good motherboard for a wireless internet setup?
 
Well...all mobos are pretty much the same for that. If you use USB, it is the same, but if you use an ethernet setup 10/100/1000 is best.
