asus inteligence n.o.s. is a caqpabilitie of my mother board it say when needed the mother board can perform a smart overclock to increase performence when needed on my cpu im wondering should i allow my mother board to oc my cpu could the mobo go e=over board and fry my cpu and if i let it what percent over clock do i put it t 3% 5% 7% 10%
and then i can over clock my cou by myself but im afraid i might damage it so should i just let the comp do it by itself
by the way my mobo is a Asus A8N5x

I'd say OC it yourself. Just up the FSB by a few MHz, reboot and check for stability. Run CPU heavy programs and test with SuperPi for wrong calculations. Then repeat it, just keep an eye on the temperatures.
