ai utility for ASUS

anyone ever use theAI booster that comes with Asus motherboards
IVe got it up and runnign in windows and i can adjust the CPU utilizatin factor

My specs are
p4p800 se

p4 3.0e prescott i know its bad for overclocking

2 512 corsair ddr 400 sticks

6800gt

antec 450 wat with 26 amp on the 12v line


i dont wanna sound like a noob but is overclocking really that simple?
this utility lets you up the multiplier and then it shows what the processor moves to you click ok and its done

i actually lowered mine from 3.0 to 2.7 cause im strange like that

it shows the main board temp and the cpu temp

and i have motherboard monitor running too

whats a guideline for these temps?

right now my case is at 40 c and proc is at 47 c

im not really underm uch of a load right now

ive got 4 case fans and then the heatsink fan and 6800 gt fan going
along with 2 on the psu

so where should the temps be?

As for temps it depends on the cooling youve got (and with the videocard, what driver rev you have)

I have an ASUS P5AD2p MoBo and got the AI boost software too! It is as easy as that but dont get carried away because you still can damage your PC. I personaly use the BIOS to overclock because i feel it gives more control over exactly what you are overclocking and by how much.
