Sorry if this is not the right topic in the forum...
Lately I've been trying to do file transfers with my friends on AOL Instant Messanger. Mostly just small MP3 files of little songs that Ive been writing to show my friends my music.
Lately every time I attempt a file transfer I get a message that says "The file will not be sent. If you and your buddy are on a different firewall, the transfer cannot take place."
A few people have told me they receive the message "SLLAB02 cancelled file transfer" right away.
Ive been using AntiVir Guard for virus protection, Windows Defender, and Prevx for internet protection. When I turn Windows Defender and Prevx off and when I disable AntiVir's guard function, the problem persists.
Any suggestions? I'm ready to throw my comp out of the window. Thanks!
