hi,hope I'm not confusing here haha. well something i'm wondering about. say someone on AIM turns their away message on and is away of course, yet someone sends them a message anyway for he/she to read once they come back. just suppose that person gets knocked off, like completely knocked off where they'll have to sign back on or just knocked off where it'll automatically sign he/she back on after a short while..would the message then disappear once they get knocked off or does it still stay on the screen for them to read? thanks

I personally use MSN, and ICQ, and steer well away from AIM, so I wouldn't know. i think the easiest way to find out is by testing that out with a friend.

The message will disappear but only if the message box disappears as well.

If the user is signed out completely it shud still be their, assuming that the conversation window is still open

sorry i'm still alittle lost haha..message box? the actual IM screen or something else? to the point here with yes or no..just say I sent he/her a message while they were away,so that means it's on their screen. say the AIM knocks them off but connects them automatically within seconds or minutes the message would still appear? say they get knocked off completely, where the sign on part shows up then it would still be there anyway for them to read?
