hello to anyone that shall read this. i have a slight problem. ok so yesterday i was on aim talking to people and i got a im saying that someone need help putting pictures on a site. so i clicked the link, and next thing i know my AIM is sending messages like crazy with the same message. so i went to aim.com and looked up there solution but it did not work. well after that i just loaded my buddy list into my other s/n. well about a half hour went by and suddenly it started up again. so i really need help. i want this thing gone and soon. thank you for whom ever helps me.

This happen to me a few days ago i uninstalled aim deleted all the aol/aim files. Then i redownloaded it and started over and no problem so far.
 
do a yahoo search got AIMfix download it and run it, it'll work, make sure you follow the directions exactly.
 
As a side note, be very careful.....there is a worm going around for IM clients that actually "has a conversation" with you.
 
yeah i heard that when i was looking for a cure. but i think anything that says its from photobucket and needed me to run it, isnt safe

Instead of using straight up AIM, get a program like Trillian. Th bug only works for GENUINE AIM products. I installed the script, and it has had no effect on my computer becuase I use Trillian. My GF on the other hand had her AIM completely screwed over (se uses genuine AIM) and the only thing that worked was the above link.
